BLU-R
Analogue meets digital, seeing meets imagination
An experimental series between analogue and digital – with no post-processing, full of visual shifts and surprising tree structures.
About the series
The series BLU-R is an experiment with perception and photographic processes. Starting from a double-exposed medium-format image of plane trees on the banks of the Main in Frankfurt (Branching Overlays), a series develops that blurs the boundaries between analogue and digital photography.
All images were made without any post-processing – a direct transfer of the analogue double-exposure effect into the digital medium. The series explores the depths of seeing, plays with expectations and invites you to experience trees and their structures in a new way. A visual dialogue between reality and imagination.
