Geometry in motion

The Tilt-Shift-Cross Shelf is a further development of the original Tilt-Shift Bookshelf and plays even more intensely with spatial distortion and static balance. The diagonal lattice creates a dynamic composition that gives an impression of movement and instability – and yet the shelf remains fully functional.
The construction follows a precise slot-together system that needs neither glue nor screws. The inclined, crossing elements not only create an unusual aesthetic but also distribute the weight optimally between wall and floor. In addition, the shelf works as a hybrid piece of furniture with a flowing work surface that merges seamlessly into the whole.
With its combination of structure, lightness and functionality, the Tilt-Shift-Cross Shelf questions classical notions of order and space – a piece of furniture that challenges architecture and perception.
