The Yumi lamp is inspired by the elegant form of the traditional Japanese bow (yumi) and translates its curved dynamics into a unique light object. The construction of precisely cut wooden elements and tensioned cords recalls the structure of a bow and creates a fascinating interplay of light and shadow.
The filigree arrangement of the elements filters the light and projects radiating patterns onto walls and ceiling. This creates an atmosphere that conveys calm and tension at once – a harmonious union of craftsmanship, geometry and Japanese aesthetics.
The Yumi lamp is more than a luminaire – it is a poetic object that brings light, material and tradition into a timeless form.
