Pinecone Lamp

Natural form, digital precision

Pinecone Lamp
Type
Luminaire, light sculpture
Assembly
Modular elements, no additional fasteners
Design
Parametric, scalable from accent lamp to room installation

The Pinecone Lamp combines organic aesthetics with computational design. Inspired by the structure of a pine cone, it takes up the principle of overlapping scales and translates it into a modern light sculpture. With parametric tools the form was designed to be freely scalable and adaptable – from small accent lights to large room installations.

The construction consists of modular, precisely cut elements that join into a stable overall form without additional fasteners. Its layered structure creates a unique play of light: the light passes through the gaps, reflects on the surfaces and projects soft patterns onto ceiling and walls. The result is a warm, atmospheric illumination that can be varied individually through the choice of material and size.

The parametric design of the lamp allows not only flexible adaptation to different room sizes but also an efficient use of material. Through digital fabrication each lamp is made with the highest precision, so that it fits seamlessly into the most varied architectural contexts.

The Pinecone Lamp is more than just a light source – it is a dynamic design object that unites nature, geometry and digital innovation in harmonious balance. A play of light and shadow, form and function that stages spaces in a unique way.
